Starting next week, parents are strongly encouraged to drop off their children or walk them as far as the front door and allow the child to get to class on their own.
Keeping the children safe is a top priority for Ms. Davis and the faculty. Allowing parents to walk children to their classrooms and loiter in the building without checking in with the front desk leaves the school vulnerable.
Parents wishing to continue walking their student to the classroom will soon be required to check-in with Virginia Villanueva at the front desk. She will input your ID into the Raptor system and print your name tag. You will need to get a name tag EVERY time you go to the school whether you are volunteering, going to your child's program or walking your child to class.
