BVES Parents:
To show appreciation for our wonderfult faculty, we would like to provide breakfast for them on Thursday, August 20th -- the same day as Back to School night. Please join me in showing them just how much we care! Last year this breakfast was VERY much appreciated by the teachers and staff.
If you are able to help, please drop off your items in the cafeteria at BVES by 8:00 am on Thursday morning. I will be there to set up and clean up. I can also return any containers or plates at BTS night that evening (be sure to label personal items clearly). Below are the items we would like to have available for staff. Please provide 6-12 servings of whatever you bring (examples: 1 box of cereal bars, 6 apples, 1 container OJ, etc.). In order to avoid everyone bringing donuts, I have assigned certain items to choose from based on your last name (you only need to pick 1-2 items to bring):
A - C
Fruit, Granola bars, Cinnamon rolls, Bagels & cream cheese, Pastries, Yogurt
D - M
Instant oatmeal, Cereal bars, Muffins, Breakfast tacos, Coffee cake, Orange juice
P - Z
Breakfast casserole, Donuts, Other fruit juice (apple, grape fruit, cranapple, etc.), Paper plates & napkins, Plastic wear (forks, spoons & knives), specialty coffee
Also, if you are available and willing to volunteer up at the school during the day on August 20th, I know the faculty would love the help. This is the day the teachers work hard to get their classrooms ready. It takes a lot of work to get the school ready and any extra hands are very much appreciated.
