Fall Carnival - Oct 25th

The entire community is invited to join us on October 25, 2008, from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm, for our first ever Fall Carnival. On this date, Blanco Vista's parking lot will be transformed into a carnival-style event complete with game booths, snow cones, face painters, a DJ, emergency vehicles and even a helicopter. Attendees are asked to bring one canned food item to support the Hays County Food Bank.

Blanco Vista PTA volunteers have been busy these past few weeks planning for the event. Many local businesses have generously donated products and services to ensure attendees go home happy.

We realize that financial hardships have hit everyone's bottom line, and we are thankful to those businesses that have donated items and services despite the sacrifice.

A big THANK YOU goes out to Texas Old Town, RBFCU, Kyle Express Care, Kyle Animal Hospital, Mammacita's, Synergy Salon, Sweet Stuff, Your Style, The Little Hair Shop, Escape Game Room, Whataburger, Baskin Robbins, Half Price Books and all of the other supporters of this event.

In addition, Starbuck's will be giving out free coffee, Culver's will be providing free ice cream and a turkey will be visiting from the Hays County Food Bank. State Representative Patrick Rose and U.S. Congressman Lloyd Doggett are also helping out by donating flags flown over the Texas and United States capitol buildings. Donated items will be included in a silent auction or bundled together to create prize baskets for attendees.

Please bring your entire family to enjoy the festivities on Saturday, October 25th.

Thank you,

Vanessa
PTA President
